Data intake
AI bill upload
Drop in a PDF or photo of an electricity bill, gas bill or fuel record. The AI extracts the printed figures (never an estimate, never spend) and you confirm every field against the original before anything is saved.
Electricity
kWh by billing period and state. Grid factors applied per state, including the NSW/ACT, SWIS and DKIS mappings.
Fleet fuel
Diesel, petrol and LPG in litres, from fuel-card or supplier statements. Optional kilometres unlock intensity per 100 km.
Natural gas
MJ exactly as printed on the bill, converted to GJ internally so the factors stay the workbook's own numbers.
Business travel
Flights by haul, hotel nights, car, taxi, rail and bus, from expense records. Distance-based factors with the radiative forcing choice stated, not buried.
Employee commuting
Mode totals from a three-question staff survey, working-from-home hours included. Scope 3 category 7 without a consultant.
Purchased goods & services
Annual spend by category from your P&L, mapped to named commodity factors and labelled an estimate on the report, because that is what it is.
Waste to landfill
Tonnes by stream from contractor invoices, using the National Greenhouse Accounts waste tables, caveats printed.
Edit everything
Entries are editable and deletable; emissions are always derived fresh, so corrections never leave stale numbers behind.

Published factors, versioned
DCCEEW National Greenhouse Accounts factors for energy, fuel and waste; UK Government conversion factors for travel and commuting; US EPA supply-chain factors for spend. Vintage and source URL carried on every factor.
Scope 1 / 2 / 3 split
Combustion, purchased electricity, and the value chain (upstream supply, travel, commuting, purchases, waste), allocated the way a reviewer expects rather than blended into one number.
No guessed factors
Where the workbook publishes no factor, the product reports the scopes it can and says so. It never substitutes an invented value.
Activity data is the source of truth
Emissions are computed at view time from your bills. A factor-edition update recalculates history with a visible diff, never a silent backfill.

Print-ready baseline report
Branded, paginated, and written for the person checking it: methodology, factor tables, assumptions log, full activity appendices.
Year-on-year comparison
Once two years exist, movement by scope, with an explicit warning when the years don't cover the same categories.
Fleet intensity
kg CO₂-e per 100 km over recorded distance: the number transport customers actually ask for.
The recurring cycle
Finalise and roll forward
Signing off a year opens the next one automatically. There is always a current period to put a bill into.
Reminders that respect the inbox
Monthly, quarterly or annual check-ins to whoever manages the data, sent only when something is actually missing. Logged visibly, one email at a time.
